Alejandro Manzanares is a Seniort Associate and Cofounder Member of Endeavor Puerto Rico, a non-profit organization focused on transforming emerging markets economies by identifying and supporting high impact Entrepreneurs. Previously, Alejandro worked as a consultant to the public sector at V2A, a boutique strategic consulting firm based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While completing his master’s degree, Alejandro founded in the United States a civic advocacy movement around issues of social and economic justice that affect the residents of Puerto Rico, called Stand Up for Puerto Rico, which led him to participate in several committees and work groups in Washington, DC, New York and Massachusetts. Alejandro completed a spring internship in the immigrant integration office in Boston, Massachusetts between January and May 2016 and previously worked at Social Media LLC (Gustazos), a leading online discount company in the Caribbean, where he managed the Sales and Business Development and New Markets area between 2011 and 2015. Alejandro is also Cofounder of Merodea. He is a board member of the Buena Vibra Foundation. It has been selected as Global Shaper, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.
Alejandro has a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Northeastern in Boston, MA in 2017; has a BA in Business Administration from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico in 2010; and hold a Management Certificate from the Harvard Business School Online in 2019
